Portal Still Alive Review
One of my favorite game’s from the Orange Box was Portal and now it is available thorough the xbox live arcade for 1200 MS points ($15). In the game you play as a female test subject in a lab testing a portal gun. The concept of the game is simple place portals to get to the elevator. As you progress through the game the levels get tougher and tougher. You start out with one blue portal with the orange portal being provided for you. Once you get the second portal the game begins to get difficult. The way around obstacles are not in your face, some of these levels will really get you thinking. Physics plays a major role in the game. Some levels require you to build up enough velocity to shoot your self across the room or turn your self into a human bowling ball to knock down turrets. This game includes 14 new maps keeping the game going. With these new maps the games has great variety, from electric floors to crushing ceilings you won’t get bored. When you finish all maps you can go back and replay them to earn gold medals. This is not as easy at it seems getting gold is very difficult. With this said there are cons. First this game is great but spendy many people have all ready played the game with the Orange Box so $15 for portal alone is spendy definitely should have been 800 MS points. The graphics may look great but the levels look very similar should have been for variation in color, I found after awhile the levels looking repetitive. Last the main mission is to short I would have liked to see more added the that as well. But all that said this is a buy I give it….

Dead Space sequel in the works
Dead Space has recently been released to consuls receiving moderately good reviews, and apparently a sequel is on it’s way. According to EA there will be a sequel Battlefield Bad-company and Army of Two, this not including the trilogy of Mirrors Edge. We have a lot to look forward to with EA and now we wait and see how it all turns out.
Prepare for the Future
Even though we have a little ways to go to get fallout 3, you can prepare for your search for the bobble heads. These bobble heads will raise you stats and skills. I came across this at Kelly’s game blog.
No Fallout 3 for India
Microsoft has announced that Fallout 3 will not be released in India due to, get this “cultural sensitivities”. Apparently in the site below many other games such as and Grand Theft Auto 4 are sold there making you wonder why not Fallout 3. The PS3 and PC versions of Fallout weren’t planed on being released.
No Primetime
Microsoft announced that primetime will not arrive to our consoles this November. There is no clear reason yet for the delay but it was mentioned that it will be here sometime this spring. For those of you who don’t know primetime, it is a series of games after t.v. shows such as 1 vs 100 that implemented real prizes. This seems to be a really innovative game. Check out more here.
Fallout 3 Review

It is very detailed and well written, here is a small quot from the blog
“Fallout 3 is an exceptional game by any account. It can be anything you want it. It can be a short to the point shooter or a long drawn out RPG or anything in between. It is clear Bethesda has put everything they have into this game. I thought no developer would ever create a world as incredible as the city of Rapture from the game, Bioshock. Rapture was masterfully crafted and the entire city came alive as a character. The amount of detail and background that went into that city was tremendous. Bethesda has set the bar higher though.”
After reading this I am getting even more excited for this game to release. Remember to pick this one up on October 28

I know this is old but it’s still awesome and shows what the game looks like.
Left 4 Dead
This by far is the most insane looking game yet. You play as one of four survivors in a city overrun by infected. The focus point of this game is online multi player campaign. You can choose to play as a survivor or in versus mode as on of the boss infected. You should look for this game when it hits store shelves this November for the Xbox 360 and the PC.

New Xbox Live Experience Beta
Some lucky Xbox live members may be able to get the new update as soon as next week according to this.

Xbox Live censor
Have you ever been on xbox live then been cursed out by a 12 year old. Soon that is to be a thing of the past, as posted here Microsoft has put in a Paten to censorswear words before they reach your ear. Not only will this be implemented in online gaming it is most likely be used on live T.V.
